Most Venerable Bhikṣuṇī Dr. Shi Zhiru is a scholar, author and Professor of Religious Studies at Pomona College, Claremont, California. She was awarded the Global Bhikkhuni Award in 2016 and the Outstanding Women in Buddhism Award in 2010.
